People Behind the Mission: Emerging findings on staff engagement in education and youth organisations

Education and youth charities and organisations have long relied on engagement tools borrowed from the corporate world, benchmarking their people against companies rather than against organisations like them. Over the past year, we set out to change that. People Behind the Mission is a research-led staff engagement survey built for our sector. Ten organisations took part in the pilot, and this report shares what the pilot found from the first shared engagement benchmarks for education and youth charities.
