Welcome to our new Associate Directors, Annette and Róisín

Karl Edwards, Managing Director, ImpactEd Evaluation
I’m thrilled to welcome Róisín Killick and Annette Zhao as our new Associate Directors at ImpactEd Evaluation. Both bring a huge dedication to education's transformative power and a shared commitment to evidence-informed decision making that will strengthen our work.
Róisín's passion for social purpose and her extensive education sector experience, coupled with Annette's focus on social mobility and international research background, represent exactly the kind of perspectives that drives purposeful impact. Their expertise with organisations like the Centre for Education and Youth, Jigsaw and EdTech Hub will undoubtedly enrich our work with partners across the sector.
Róisín Killick, Associate Director, ImpactEd Evaluation
I am very excited to be joining the team at ImpactEd Evaluation. I have spent the past few weeks getting to know my incredible colleagues, and I am now looking forward to working with many of our partner organisations, including some familiar education sector faces, to help them better understand the impact of their work and make more evidence informed decisions about their next steps.
I have always been driven by the social purpose of my work and the knowledge that I am contributing to something beyond the immediate walls of my organisation. It is this drive that has led me to work in the education sector for the entirety of my career.
Annette Zhao, Associate Director, ImpactEd Evaluation
Having started a few weeks ago, I am now looking forward to getting stuck in with the various projects and getting to know my colleagues and the partners we work with in the coming months. I am also thrilled to have the opportunity to see how my previous experience in academia and international education can bring to ImpactEd Evaluation and ImpactEd Group in general while no doubt learning from everyone in the organisation and sector!
I am interested in social mobility and (in)equality and my personal and professional experience of different educational systems (and social structures) in different countries has kept me in the sector all these years. While (good) education can help with many of the questions and issues we face as individuals and societies, there is always more to do and to understand and I am keen to make a contribution to it.
ImpactEd Group continues to expand in response to partner need and is currently also recruiting for a Big Data Architect/Engineer, to work across practices.
