ImpactEd Group welcomes Dr Lauren Bellaera as Director of Research & Insights

We are delighted to announce that Dr Lauren Bellaera has joined the leadership team of ImpactEd Group, in the new role of Director of Research & Insights.
Over the last decade Lauren has successfully developed the research and consultancy arm of The Brilliant Club, alongside lecturing in applied research methods at Birkbeck College, University of London and supervising postgraduate students at the UCL Institute of Education (UCL IoE). Lauren holds a PhD in cognitive psychology from the University of Warwick and brings an advanced quantitative and qualitative skillset. Her research focuses on the development and measurement of cognitive outcomes in education.
In the new, full-time role Dr Bellaera will work closely with ImpactEd Group’s evaluation and consulting practices to design, convene and lead high-level research projects and ensure that data and insights from the Group’s work are shared for system benefit. Lauren will also collaborate closely with Professor John Jerrim from UCL IoE, who works with the Group on a part-time basis.
The appointment demonstrates the continued commitment that ImpactEd Group is making, to ensure that more schools and education organisations can access pragmatic, actionable and high-quality research that responds to their needs.
